Don’t you wish you could document your gown shopping experience to have for decades to come? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a high-definition “video diary” for your family, friends, kids or future children to see... for free! Well, you may be in luck!
Girl Meets Gown is a positive, fun and entertaining reality TV show produced by renowned Dallas production company, AMS Pictures. The show centers around the exclusive wedding emporium, Stardust Celebrations in Plano, and the brides who visit on their search for the perfect gown. The one-hour special of Girl Meets Gown premiered on WEtv in March of 2009 and we’re now casting brides for Season 1 of the series!
We’re looking for actual “brides-to-be” who have not yet purchased a wedding gown. You are:
- Engaged
- Currently living in Texas; or live out-of-state but planning a Texas wedding.
- Looking for your dream dress.
- Willing to shop and try-on gowns at Stardust Celebrations.
- Available for 2 – 3 non-consecutive shoot days
- Open to a fun experience where you’ll be a star on the WE Network!

Shooting your actual wedding is optional depending on when your wedding date falls within our production cycle.
There is no payment. Brides should apply solely for a new experience with family and friends, and to have a televised video diary of their journey.
All brides will be honored at the Series Premiere Party held at AMS.
